I am using opera mini 6.5 in my mobile, I find it so easy to handle. But when I try to read my native language Bengali it shows only blocks, I am sure my phone has the Bengali font settings, so I want someone to help me in opera mini set character encoding to UTF-8. And Thanks for your help
How to set character encoding Opera mini 6.5
Greetings,
Did you install the Bangla version of Opera Mini? If so, uninstall it and install the English version instead. If that didn't fix the issue, launch Opera Mini, in the address bar type in opera:config Select the third option which says "use bitmap fonts for complex scripts", set it to yes then save, as shown in the image below.

Hi,
It will work if you download an English version .Then change it language to Bengali. The English version is easy and direct to customize as in the address bar type in opera:configure then Select the third option which says "use bitmap fonts for complex scripts", set it to yes then save,
