Good Day Everyone!

Does anyone know how to run tree size in server core? I am using Windows Server 2008 64 bit and I have an installer of Tree Size Free versions 2.4. Do you think it is okay to use this version on Windows Server 2008? For advanced users and experienced administrator, please give me guidance. I need to learn the basics of using TreeSize and if you can provide a sample video or tutorial , it will be great. Also, if possible can you list down all your encountered difficulties and problems and your provided solution.

Thank you very much for the help!

Hello Ameliabelindaa,

TreeSize version 2.4 can be run on  Windows server 2008. By this software you can know how much space a file is taking on a workstation.

After downloading to run it on your windows follow these steps
·         Start Treesize from

startmenu-> programs-> treesize-> treesize

·         Right click the drive that you want to size-> select treesize

·         Treesize software will show the space taken by files on that drive.

Hope that will help you.
Best regards.
