How to run .pkg file on Windows PC?

I downloaded a .pkg file from the Cisco website but the file could not be open. I am using a Windows XP PC. I heard that it won’t run with Windows PC but with Mac PC only. How can I make it run with my computer?

How to run .pkg file on Windows PC?

 

Hello.

.pkg files are only for Mac users.

They are specially designed for apple users and are not supported for windows.

You cannot run it on windows pc.

You must download alternative software in order to run it on windows pc.

Check for the windows compatible software in the same website and download it.

How to run .pkg file on Windows PC?

Hi Larry,

Your above mentioned file extension is .pkg. It is specially designed for iPhone and mac. So, .pkg format file extension can not be run on windows. It is using for creating symbian files.
