I did a factory reset of my phone by mistake and have lost all my data. Luckily, I have an iCloud backup of my data done but am unable to restore it. Please help me to restore data from backup.
You can restore data from iCloud very easily after a factory reset.
Switch on your phone and wait for the Hello screen to appear. Follow the steps that appear till Apps & Data options appear. Choose ‘Restore from iCloud backup’. Enter your Apple ID details and log in. Choose the most relevant backup you want to restore by looking at the date and size. Sign into your Apple Id again for restoring your apps and purchases. You can skip this step and do it later as well. Make sure you have uninterrupted internet access during the recovery process. Depending on the size of the backup, it may take from a few minutes to an hour for it to complete.
After Setup is complete, your data will have been recovered from iCloud. The remaining data may be restored in the background after your iPhone is setup.
