I have Netgear wifi router in my home. I do not know the exact make but it has one Ethernet input, four Ethernet outputs and wifi. Last time i changed the password was about 3 years back. I had shared the password with many neighbours.
I am getting a huge data usage bill now hence i would like to change the password/reset the Wifi password as soon as possible. Can anybody please inform me the steps to reset the Wifi router and help me in getting out of this trouble?

1)To reset the WiFi router press and hold the recessed button named as reset button or Restore Factory Setting on the back or bottom panel using a thin tool like pen or paper clip about 7 seconds until the power light begins to blink.

2)Release the button to restart the router. Power light will stop blinking and becomes green.

3)After pressing the button, router will go back to first state when it was new. All information like IP address, ISP username, ISP Password and wireless security keys needs to be reconfigured. So connect your computer with router using Ethernet cable.

4)Open the browser and type router’s login address in the address bar. Default login address is “http://www.routerlogin.com”. After this Login page will appear. If it is not coming, type the default IP address on the address bar, default IP address of the router is “http://192.168.0.1” or “http://192.168.1.1”.

5)Enter the user name and password on the login page appears. The default user name and password is,

User name:admin

Password:password
