I've been hiding some files on my pc, however every time I open my private files, it always appear on the start menu (Recent Documents). Can anyone tell me how to disable this?

This was also my problem before, and just found the solution to fix this one. First, right click on toolbar and then select properties. On the Task bar and start menu properties, choose start menu. You must see the option on privacy, now uncheck both of the options so it wont display recently opened files in your start menu bar.

LOL,  you must be hiding some porn videos in your computer. I did that also, and definitely once you unchecked the privacy  option it will no longer display anything even you viewed videos or pictures in your hard disk.

I guess what fyke's instruction is for windows 7 OS, not sure if it's applicable with other OS like vista and XP.
