How to remove an app that got stuck while installing on Iphone?

I was installing an app on my iPhone and it got stuck while installing. I cannot cancel the install for some reason. I tried deleting it but no 'x' appears when I hold the icon. Can I do something to resume the install? If not, how can I remove the application from my iPhone?

How to remove an app that got stuck while installing on Iphone?

If any apps got stuck while installing, there might be several reasons. Here are some of them with solutions

** It might be the problem of your router DNS transfer problem. To solve this issue go to settings > Wi-Fi> click information button of your network > change DNS to 8.8.8.8 > Return.

** Select that app and delete by long key press and re-install that app from App store.

** Go to settings > iTunes & App store and logout from that store. Then put your device in airplane mode then reboot the device. After mobile gets restarted, then turn off airplane mode. This can kill all the waiting and stuck apps.
