How to recover desktop data deleted by Trojan? In our office we have so many data in the desktop which are not arranged and saved in the local disk because we are too busy for this month. Unfortunately, we got this virus from a flash drive while sending data from different servers. It was very disappointing that those important files in the desktop are all deleted, is there a way to recover those files?

First, make sure what kind of trojan entered into your system. Some Trojan can indeed delete files and some can make you believe it was deleted but in fact is only hidden.

Before you start recovering those files you have to make sure that the Trojan is totally gone or it might cause problems.

Install anti-virus first to find out what kind of Trojan it is, then search in the internet to find out how to delete it.
(Note: you might have to access the registry so be careful on what to delete.)

After the Trojan is gone from the system try to recover the files. You may get an idea on how to recover them by looking at the Trojan that infected your system.
