How to recover deleted LUN (volume) from IBM DS8000 Storage box ?

I have accidentally deleted one LUN (volume)  from the storage. Volume was unmapped during this incident. Company critical data was resided in the volume.

My question is, how can I recover the deleted volume? Configuration was as under:

Storage Model = IBM DS800

Raid Group= 5

Volume size= 500 GB

Hi Nadeemrao,

As I read your question, I also asked myself, how? Then I ran a fast research and this is what I found. You can use the undelete option in a 3rd party partition manager. As long as you haven't attempted to change that partition in any way other than delete it, it should work fine.

Also some say that they used the dmdiag.exe, then they found a way to solve it. And I suggest you to try this two recovering processes for your deleted volume. And if this two will run great or recover your volume, tell us about it or how you did it. This would help.
