Hello,

I think you are looking for a way to make a screenshots using mac ox x. First , you have to know that this can be done only if you have a software that performs this task. I recommend you to use  QuickTime  as it is simple and efficient.

Now, if you have to know how to use it, then you need to watch this tutorial video

Hi Ryan Abate,

There are plenty of programs available to capture Screencasts but the operating system you are using has an in-built facility to do this. The latest version of Mac OSX has a feature called QuickTime player. To locate this, use the spotlight search. When you get it open it. Then on the QuickTime player window click on the File menu and select "New Screen Recording". A black screen window will open and on the right hand side you will see an arrow, click on it and select a microphone in case you want your video to have sound. Then you can choose between high and medium quality. Medium is better if you are recording a long video. Now you can click the red button to start recording.

Other software that you can use are the Any Video Converter for Mac and the Camtasia Mac. You  can get one of them here http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_mac_video_converter_ultimate/.
