How to read shx programs without any error

Hello expert, I am using AutoCAD 2007 on my PC. But I have a small problem with the reading shx file by using AutoCAD. Is there any other software to read shx file. Please can you explain me how to read shx programs without any error? Thank you.

How to read shx programs without any error

Hello Vivian Drakees,

As SES files are a part of Microsoft office and you can easily open them by following the below steps that i told you. All you need is to move your file from its location to the desktop. After that  open a new file in MS documents  and click the button next to the close button from the upper corner and you have to minimize it. After that you have to drag the SES file from desktop to the new document and you can read the contents.

How to read shx programs without any error

If you upgraded your AutoCAD Software to 2007, you will need to check the location  path (path P:FONTSX-helv1f.shx) is still in  the same old folder that the initial .shp file were saved. If that is the error you are getting then the original .shp file (un-compiled) needs to be located and you can  compile the .shp file in  to a new .shx file which will be different from  the old ones.

If the error still pops up again, that means there is no carriage return on  the last line of any shape description  file so press control (ctrl) and a text editor opens and the cursor goes to the end of the last line of text press enter and save the original .shp file

 

You can  also opt to open AutoCAD and click on file to select open   and load a project of your choice or want to work on. When  the project successfully loads in to viewing you wont be able to upload the .shx file from your computer until the project starts and information is displayed on  the screen.

Click the file drop down menu again and click in  import, A search dialog box opens and select the .shx file of choice to use and it will load directly in to your project as an image file.
