How do you code an HTML email campaign? From what I've searched in Google in all kinds of websites, they give a number of "what works and what does not" charts. When I click on a URL in an e-mail, the website opens in Lotus Notes (in what is basically a new email window). What I would like to happen is for the link to open in a web browser, like Internet Explorer.
How to open links in a browser instead of in Lotus Notes
Hi Rian,
Â
Follow the instructions below:
-
In the Lotus Notes menu, go to File > Preferences > Location Preferences.
-
In the Location: Office (Network) screen, click on the Internet Browser tab. The default setting is "Notes" or "Notes with Internet Explorer".
-
Click on the down-arrow button next to this setting to open the "Select Keywords" dialog box.
-
Select Microsoft Internet Explorer and click the OK button. Your setting should now match the setting shown in the figure at right.
-
Click on the Save & Close button to save the setting and return to your e-mail Inbox.
I hope it my help.
