How to open links in a browser instead of in Lotus Notes

How do you code an HTML email campaign? From what I've searched in Google in all kinds of websites, they give a number of "what works and what does not" charts. When I click on a URL in an e-mail, the website opens in Lotus Notes (in what is basically a new email window). What I would like to happen is for the link to open in a web browser, like Internet Explorer.

Hi Rian,

Follow the instructions below:

  1. In the Lotus Notes menu, go to File > Preferences > Location Preferences.
  2. In the Location: Office (Network) screen, click on the Internet Browser tab. The default setting is "Notes" or "Notes with Internet Explorer".
  3. Click on the down-arrow button next to this setting to open the "Select Keywords" dialog box.
  4. Select Microsoft Internet Explorer and click the OK button. Your setting should now match the setting shown in the figure at right.
  5. Click on the Save & Close button to save the setting and return to your e-mail Inbox.

I hope it my help.
