How to open .asdf files

Hi,

I get the following error message when I tried to open a document a colleague sent me.

Can someone please tell me what kind of software is needed to open asdf formats?

Please help me.

How to open .asdf files

Hello,your file might be corrupted or something. To open your file you can change the .asdf extension into .exe., .rar or .zip. To avoid any problem before changing the extension of your file you need to copy and paste the .asdf file into another folder. After you rename the extension of the file you can now open the sent file by your colleague. Hope this solution works. If not then you need to let your colleague send it to you again and ask him/her what kind of file is he/she sending. So that you will be aware what file was being sent and if it will not open again you just need to change the extension of the file.
