The latest from Nyko is the Playpad Android which is set to be released this fall. You can choose from the colorful Playpads and be sure to get hooked to the gaming experience it can bring you. I'm just wondering if it will support the older models of tablets and smartphones. Has Nyko unveiled the price of this new playmate?
According to an online article on droid guy. Com the Nyko and NVIDIA deal for the wireless game controller is supposed to work with NVIDIA Tegra 2 and Tegra 3 based devices whether tablets or smartphones. According to the same article the price tag is set to be at $50. Another article on Cnet claims that the price has not yet been decided but the company is looking into aiming it south of $50 for the Pro and even less for the standard Playpad.

The Price tag for this device comes around $40.  Unfortunately, reviews say that the price is not worth the control pad.  The device is made up of plastic and the controllers and buttons are too stiff.  The Playpad has an app that goes with it so you can use it with your Android device.  Apparently the app does not support many android games but you can still configure the Playpad to emulate the controls for the game but doing so may be tedious.  But if you don't mind tweaking devices, this Playpad won't disappoint you.
