I have an ISO file to install a software on my Windows Server 2008 PC. I am not able to open nor extract the files. Is there any way to open the file in Windows Server 2008?
You totally need not worry if you have Windows Server 2008 as it has a default ISO mounter and reader. Which is supposed to automatically open when we double click but if for some reason it is not opening follow the below given steps.
Step 1: Right click on the ISO file and from the popup windows that appears select “Properties”
Step 2: Click on change button and Select windows explorer from the small box that appears.
Step 3: Click on the OK button and now you should be able to open the file from there itself without requiring any app.
