One of the best features of Windows Vista is that the user may change the icons, and they are really great to use and more flexible. These icons are small pictures that can represent a file, a folder, a program, or even another object. Here is how to change a folder’s icon in a Windows Vista:

  1. Right-Click on the folder’s icon you would like to change
  2. From there select Properties on the drop down menu.
  3. Then click the Customize tab that is in the properties box.
  4. This time, click the Change Icon button which is found at the bottom of the dialog box.
