Hello

I want to use one of Help and Support's recorded troubleshooters to solve a specific subject, but I am getting an error message which basically says that I am not able to use the Help and Support.

How can I solve this?

Need your help.

Thanks in advance.

Whenever Help and Support is acting up, you need to check if the Help and Support services is actually running. Follow these steps to check:

  1. Go to Start > Run
  2. Type services.msc
  3. Look for Help and Support
  4. Right click the entry and choose Properties
  5. Look for Start-up type, make sure it's set to Automatic. If the entry says "Stopped", just click on the Start button to start the service
  6. Click ok next
  7. If the Help and Support services is not listed in services.msc, you need to download the service from Microsoft. Check out this link for more info: http://www.winhelponline.com/xp/helpsvc.htm

Cheers!

Hi mash,

It seems you cant access the windows Troubleshooter and helper support. The thing here is you did not specify which OS you are using, i can only specifically help only if you say which OS you are using. In a general case, it seems your system files are corrupt, i hope you are using genuine windows operating systems.

I hope you have the windows OS Cd with you, reboot your PC and choose boot options and select your CD or DVD and insert your OS disk and then follow steps to re install or repair your PC.

1-6 steps didn't work. But the 7th item really helped a lot.

Thanks to you…:)
