In QuickBooks, you are allowed to add a memo either on customer statements or checks. A memo can help you explain, add relevant information regarding a statement to a customer or check. For example, you can add a description of your company's net terms on a customer's statement. Write a memo in the Memo field of the relevant document's Settings window to make it visible. The memo is visible when you preview the document or print it.
