Hi! There are many software that you can use to create that animated paper star that you like to create. By far one of the best is Flash. It will let you create not only stars but any shape that you can think of. Put that figure into a layer and set the necessary motion tween so that you can dictate where or how you want it to be animated. You can then export that as a flash video format, or other video format that you prefer.

Now go and make that awesome star! =)

Hi Trevor Jhon,

There is much software for you to make an 3D paper star. But if you want to give it an animation, you should use Adobe Flash. Actually, Adobe Photoshop can make animation too, but it is unreal and unsmooth.

So, use Flash star tool to draw a paper star. Then apple tween (shape tween, classic tween) to make it animate.

Classic tween: Create star1 in a key frame > create star2 (bigger or smaller than star1) in another key frame > go to menu Insert > Shape tween > press Ctrl + Enter to see how your stars change

Classic tween: Create star1 in a key frame > create star2 (in a different position) in another key frame > right-click on star1 > Convert to Symbol, and choose Graphic in Type > do the same with star2 > go to menu Insert > Classic tween > press Ctrl + Enter to see how your stars change

Hope this helps
