How to make csv export faster apex oracle with exponential values? I got large number of data to be downloaded in csv format and its taking rather slow. Long numbers are showing exponential values instead of plain numbers. What can I do to fix that?

There is an alternate. Your all activity could be done by skipping the CSV step. There is an option available in Apex through which you can export the report directly. Second way is to install application express 3.1. It makes easy to store files in the form of table with a BLOB column and you can easily build reports on that tables. Please try to expand your columns or if you are using excel to view file in CSV format select the input method as text because excel has limitation of showing lengthy numbers.

You can solve the issue of large numbers being displayed in exponential format by putting the numbers in single quotes in the csv. So that Excel  interprets  them as text. So you should be comfortable with Oracle's special handling requirements for including single quotes in a string. And you can also export it directly.
