How long do Tivoli storage manager licenses expire?

I have started using the Tivoli storage manager for a week now. It was actually working well. But 3 days ago all my files got corrupted and as I felt I was lucky enough to have the storage manager, when I searched for the backup file to retrieve all my files, there wasn’t any. I was told that it has a dynamic recovery plan, so how do I use it? Is it possible that the Tivoli storage manager licenses have expired?

How long do Tivoli storage manager licenses expire?

Hello,

As you are using the Tivoli storage manager for a week you may know that it was trial version or registered version. If the Tivoli storage manager is a trial version it has a trial period also. After the period it will expire. But if you are running a registered version it will never expire its date of running.

You have to buy a Tivoli storage manager for unlimited use. If you buy a Tivoli storage manager you will get a license no. So no tension for expiring. Be cool and run Tivoli storage manager which is licensed.

How long do Tivoli storage manager licenses expire?

Good day,

The expiry date of your Tivoli Storage Manager is based on which license you bought. I suggest you must contact an IBM agent and let him or her know that your license is about to expire and that you need to extend it. Step two, from your Console go to Bigfix Management Domain, click License Overview, then Check for license update button.
