Hi,

First of all confirm that your pc network is on ‘Public’ mode.

Now install the sharing program called ‘jrdesktop’. It works best in broadband connections with many platforms at a time. Now try both the program and Teamviewer to connect by developing VPN through ‘reverse connection’. If you can do this, there will be no obstacle to use Teamviewer.

Running Teamviewer on Linux seems very painful thing because there is no version of team viewer for Linux. Even running it with Linux is a security risk. So, running it via SSH is a good if you care for the security of your connections. If you have SSH access to the machine you want to run TEAMVIEWER for, you should try the following commands:

  • Screen
  • Export DISPLAY=”:0.0”
  • Teamviewer6
