Hi Guys,

I want to know the process for how long my system is running. Without my absence my friends are using it. When I ask them for how long you are using the system, they simply answer instantly. Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

Hi Mary,

Normally, you can come to know since how long your system is running if it is ON. If your system is used and it is OFF then there is no way to know for how long it was used. The process to know since how long your system was ON is explained below.

1. Right click on the task bar.

2. Go to start the task manager option and click on it.

3. You will see windows task manager wizard and search 'Performance' option over there.

4. Now look into the 'system' option in the middle of the wizard. You will find 'UP time' i.e. the system running duration since how long it is running.

Hi Mary,

There are few ways to find system running time. I will show you how it can be done using command prompt.

1. First go to the command prompt by typing "cmd" on the "run" dialog box.

2. In the command prompt type "systeminfo" and hit the enter key. And wait until result will be generated.

3. As the screenshot given below. You will see the system boot time.

4. Now you have to calculate the system running time by subtracting current system time and system boot time.

Hope this will helpful

Thanks
