Apple encrypts its ebooks such that they can only be opened through its iBooks app. Currently the iBook app is available only for Apple devices only.
However we can break that encryption using an external software and make it available to read on our PC.

What you need to do is download the free Requim software. Requim removes the encryption from the ebooks and the songs downloaded from ITunes. Do not worry it is not an act of piracy.

Download the Requim zip file, unpack it and run the Requim.exe to install it. Run after installation.

Next download a free ebook reader which supports ePub format. Apple encodes its ebooks in the ePub format. You can download one such reader called Caliber.

Finally, drag your ebook file from iTunes onto your desktop and open it using the reader downloaded above and VOILA!!! you can read your iTunes ebooks on your PC now.Â
