Wondering is there any way to get Google chrome to just play a selected video without downloading it.I recently swapped to chrome from internet explorer which would always just play a video and not download them too,any advice is much appreciated.

Basically Google Chrome can play videos through Flash-plugin. Same as the internet explorer but it is not necessarily to download unless you want to store it and use it in other things.
Also you can't automatically download videos , you must have a plugin or software to download this videos. So enjoy watching videos using your Google chrome and don't forget to always check if there is an update in your flash plugin.
It can affect the speed and performance of your videos.
