Hi Techyv,

How to install wmf images codec for mac? I already downloaded a codec for wmf images and the downloading process was successful. There are some instances that mac operating system will not allow any installation for some reasons, can you give me an instruction to install it properly? I am not that familiar with mac operating system and I need your help.

How to install wmf images codec for Mac?

I think what you are referring to is the WMV image codec and not the WMF codec.

The WMV digital video format is designed solelyfor Microsoft users. In order for Mac users to play WMV files, the files should be converted or as what you have done, install a WMV codec. You can add the Flip 4 Mac component for you to play WMV files in QuickTime, the default media player in Mac.

How to install Flip 4 Mac component:

Step 1: Download the latest version of Flip 4 Mac component.

Step 2: Run QuickTime.

Step 3: Click on: File > Open > (search for *.WMV file).

Step 4: Stream the *.WMV file.
