Please somebody advise me. I have an old Dell Optiplex 380 model Computer in my office and for test purpose I need to install unisphere simulator full version in it. While installing process after some progress it shows a blue screen with some error message and gets hanged. I can not understand where is the problem. Is there any hardware issue?

Most probably the blue Screen is a Windows STOP Screen. If you see in the blue screen comments such as "dumping physical memory" or other memory related messages than I Would suggest that you should perform a Defragment of the Disks in your PC. Check also the RAM utilization of your PC. The blue screen appears also in case  you  have a virus in your PC.  Â
I do not think is related to the Unisphere simulator itself since normally if there are program issues you should get other messages before the blue screen.
Your PC data normally should handle Unisphere simulator.
Perform the above check and try again.

Every time a blue screen appears, that means that you either have a software problem or a hardware problem. Â
Use any one of these to fix the problem:
1.) Check if the installer is working with other desktops. There is a chance that the installer is simply damaged.
2.) Since Dell Optiplex 380 is a fairly old model, there is a possibility that your desktop simply cannot power the simulator. Since purchasing a new desktop will be costly, you can purchase a video card that is compatible with your desktop in order to power more up to date programs.
