Hi!
I am just new with scanners and with Canon CanoScan 9000F MKII Color Image. I want to ask for your help on how to do this properly. I followed the instructions in the manual and the devices was unsuccessfully installed it is not working. I uninstalled the device and reinstalled it still the same. Can you tell me what could be causing this issue? Is it with the scanner or is it with my laptop? Can you give me alternative ways on how to resolve this problem?

How to install Canon CanoScan 9000F MKII Color Image with my laptop
Before installation do make sure that .net framework 4 is installed. Make sure the installation of the software is done before you connect the scanner and install the device drivers.
Try using different USB on your laptop to install the device sometimes changing USB does work for successful installation.
If you have done the above both and it still doesn't work make sure you keep Scanner attached with the laptop but don't turn it on now install the software and drivers in the middle of installation if it prompts you to switch on the scanner, than only switch on the scanner if it doesn't ask and the installation of drivers and software is successful than reboot your laptop. While laptop goes for reboot and it shutting switch on the scanner so that during the bios scanner is detected and thus during the laptop rebooting process drivers and scanner should start working.
If it still give the problems do download the drivers and software from here, download all recommended downloads on the page as well as download drivers, software and utilities just in case it might come in need. After downloading you can install the drivers and software which should surely work cause the drivers and software would have been updated on the website.
