I would like to know from an expert about inserting shapes in Microsoft word. I want to add a rectangle and a circle. I want to insert text to rectangle and the rectangle should be on circle overlapping the circle. That means the circle should be behind the rectangle. Can help?

In Microsoft word we can insert shapes as we want. Please follow my guideline then you will be able be success.

First click on the insert tab and click on the shapes icon which is in the illustrations section.

Now click on the circle (Oval) shape and draw it on the document.

Again go to the shape option and click on the rectangle icon. And draw it on the circle.

Now right click on the rectangle and click on the add text.

Now type the text you want appear in the rectangular. I will type “calculation”

Then shapes as you expected will be appeared as follows.
