Hello Experts,

How improve 2 G network speed? I am having some connection problem dealing with this 2 G network and I just want to ask you, if what is the way to make and access a fast networking speed or to improve it for more convenience to use? Your idea can be a help.

How improve 2g network speed?

Hi,

You did not notify what type of connection you use. Broadband or GPRS modem?

There are little chances to increase the speed in 2g. For gaining more speed in downloading the Internet Download Manager and the Download Accelerator work very well. For fast browsing, use Google Chrome browser. You can try the TCP/IP configuration change for increasing the speed.

How improve 2g network speed?

Hello Marie,

You can increase your network speed to 10% of your original speed. Here is a way to do it go to:

Tools > settings > connections > Destinations > Internet now select the Access Point > Edit > options >Advanced settings > DNS Address. Type the following address 8.8.8.8 as primary and 8.8.4.4 as secondary.

This will increase the network speed hopefully.

How improve 2g network speed?

To get high net speed you need a BSNL 2G SIM card and a BSNL 3G Data Card. If you are having that good! You can continue to following steps. But the 3G network coverage is required in your city or area.

STEPS:-

Step1. Insert your Data Card to the computer as usually you do.

Step2. Click on the Network menu. Under the network menu set the network selection from manual to auto to manual.

Step3. Then below the Network Selection menu a Mode Selection menu is present. In Mode Selection Menu set it to MTS/HSPDA option.

Step4. Click on apply button.

Then reconnect your BSNL Data Card. Now you can see the difference in previous browsing and downloading speeds and after browsing speeds. Your Net speeds are increased by up to 10 x. if you are getting faster speed after this trick its great! Enjoy. Internet speed trick 2 G to 3G with Airtel, Vodafone, Tata Docomo, Reliance will be soon available. Thank you.

Hello Marie philips,

You may use certain browser to make your network faster, such as, you can use goggle chrome as your default browser,

Or you can follow the step,

Open "Control panel" then Open "Network Connections" Select your Network for example Local Area Network or Dial Up whatever it is.

Right click on your network and go to the Properties option and then go to "Networking” Tab

Double click on” Internet Protocol"

Select the Option "Use the following DNS server addresses"

In preferred DNS server enter any of the following

208.67.222.222
