How i will format my other drives?

My computer memory storage is 160GB. I have total 4 drives.C,D,E and F. My computer is now a little slow and I think I got some virus on those hard drives. I want to format those drives except for C drive.

So how do I do that ?

How i will format my other drives?

Hi,

 

There are different ways to format your drives. I'll tell you how to format your drive if you are using Window XP. It really is easy to format your drives if you are an XP user.

• First right click on My Computer icon and select Manage and click it.
• Now you'll see the computer management window, on the left side you'll see a list of different things click on Storage from there and then on the Disk management.
• Here you will see your drives, at the bottom you'll find disk 0, disk 1, disk 2 and disk labels in similar ways.
• Now disk 0 is your drive C so forget about it and concentrate on other disk labels you want to format.
• Right click on each disk you want to format and then click on format.
• Here you'll see three options disk label, file system, allocation unit size. Chose the file system like NTFS or FAT32 which ever you want to, label your disk by any name.
• Now click Ok. This will give you a warning that your data will be deleted, just click ok.
• Here you are! You've just formatted your drive. Do the same process with all your drives that'll format them.

Hi,

There are many ways to format your computer. But before formatting please run Some antivirus program, Cleanup tool and Defragment tool. It will be perform many good results. Start > Programs > Accessories > System tools. Then right click on your D,E,F partitions and just select Format, then Start. Few minute will be complete your format. You can use many software for this. Just search on Internet.

How i will format my other drives?

Simply right-click on the drive that you wish to format and then click on Format. Assuming you want to format Drive F: as shown below:

You can choose to Quick format the drive which will take about few minutes only. Or you can click on Start to perform a full format which will take a while to finish the process. Do the same steps on each drive that you wish to format.
