I am trying to get a good traffic for my website *****. Mostly I have practiced off page SEO. I hardly know about on page SEO. I request anyone to check my website and tell what is absent and what can I do for on page SEO. I expect suggestions for both methods.

Getting good web traffic to your site will require hard work and diligence, and remember that this is not completed overnight. First thing to think of is how to let people know that your website exists. The solution here is to make advertisements of your site.

How to advertise? Here are some tips.

Enlist your website to as many search engines that you can. Some examples are Google, Bing, Yahoo, MSN and many more.

Enlist your website on Online directories.

Make sure your website has dynamic contents. Examples are Message Boards, Picture gallery, Directory, News item, Site Search, Guest Book and others. This will add to the enjoyable experience that your visitors will get and if they enjoyed their experience, they will keep on coming back to your website.

Subscribe to usenet groups and advertise your website there. One place I recommend you to start with is Google Groups. However in doing so, make sure that you submit your site under the appropriate group, it is recommended you signup with a backup email address else your original email address will be added onto spammers database.

You can also use Social Networking Sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Youtube and many more.
