How to format mid tablet

I have MID 8" tablet (M801) running Android 4.1, It worked fine months ago and suddenly I couldn’t restart it, every time I switch it on it hangs and stays still with the Android man on the screen and not a single blink happens until I turn it off and back on again and the same thing happens, my question is how to access and backup my files and then how to format mid tablet and restore it to the factory settings?

How to format mid tablet

Hi Debra Carter,

If you want to reset your phone and make a backup first, I want you to first download an android suite in your desktop, from then, install it and then connect your phone on your android suite, you can get files from then even a back up can do and then after you've finished backing up your mobile phone, press the on switch + volume down + home screen to take you to the screen which let's you do a factory reset, reset the phone and restore your mobile phone, it should work
