How to fix error 3002 upgrading to ios5 (Mac/Windows)? When it tries to update to Ios5, unknown error has been received. It is the error message;

iTunes

The iPhone “nabphone” could  not be updated. An unknown error occurred (3002)

Such errors occur on iTunes when the traffic to their site is more than what they can process. In the process of installation, iTunes verifies the iPhone restore with Apple. Hence, when traffic is high the time to process the request increases and a connection time out occurs.

Apple broadcasts the connection time out error in the form of an Unknown error 3002. So, all you need to do is wait for some time and try again. The best time would be at night when half of America is asleep. I hope this clears your doubt. Cheers.
