I cannot understand why I am facing this kind of error every time I want to run a particular app on my machine. The error is stating:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

I am using Windows. Please refer to the screenshot below, so that you can guide me with a probable solution.

How to Fix 0xc00007b Error?

This is a typical error that many Windows users are facing when running apps on their machines. There can be several reasons why the Error 0xc000007b occurs and the most common is due to the 32-bit app that might be trying to execute itself in a 64-bit system.

To get rid of this problem and see your app working, just follow these steps:

1. Launch the Explorer and browse to C:WindowsSystem32.

2: Locate the following files: “xinput1_1.dll”, “xinput1_2.dll”, “xinput1_3.dll” and all files that start with xinput1_*.dll, and delete all of them.

3: Once the files are deleted, download and run “DirectX” setup.

4. Run the downloaded file and install it. Once the installation is complete, you can reboot your computer and check if the app runs.
