How to find acer crystal camera driver for win 7?

Hi,

I used the Acer crystal camera with my Windows XP operating system. Last month I installed Windows 7 and my Acer crystal webcam did not work. I tried to find drivers but I couldn't. Please tell me how to find Acer crystal camera driver for win 7 and if you have this type of experience please share it with me.

How to find acer crystal camera driver for win 7?

Hi,

Try searching your Acer Crystal Eye Web Camera driver on Acer’s official website.

It's https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/home. I think your Acer Eye Web Camera driver is not compatible with your current operating system.

I cannot help you locate your specific camera driver because you did not mention your Acer Computer Model and Specific Operating System (ie. Windows 7 32 bit or Windows 7 64 bit). But go to this link:

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Enter your Product Model or browse thru Product Category. After selecting your model, choose your specific Operating System. Drivers can now be selected according to category.

It’s better to download drivers from the official website rather than from somewhere else.

Hi there,

You are having a tough time searching for the right driver for your webcam. You can try the following:

1. Along with your webcam, you are supposed to have a Driver Installation CD. If your laptop has a CD-Drive, you can install directly from the CD. If not, you can copy the CD contents from another PC with a CD-ROM and then create an ISO image from those files. To create an ISO image,

Follow this link for the software.

After you are finished with creating the image, download and install DAEMON Tools from this website.

Install this software on your laptop, then open the ISO image you just created. Following this process, you can install your webcam driver as if you were installing it from a CD. This method is also useful for any other CD content. 

2. If you don't have a Driver CD, you can easily download the driver software from this link.

Hi Mr. Valerie,

Please find this link in order to download Acer crystal camera driver.

 

Before installing this driver you should uninstall your previous installed driver.

 

Steps to uninstall your driver:

 

1. Right click on the my computer icon on your desktop.

2. Go to manage option.

3. Click on device manager.

4. Find imaging device and expand it.

5. Right click on the imaging device driver and uninstall it.

 

Now install the driver downloading from the above link.

Thanks that you have shared your problem with us.

It is very simple to install your camera driver into your computer.

Kindly connect your camera with your computer via cable, it will start a process of installing the driver. Open device manager and check if a yellow question mark is shown on your device in device manager then connect to the internet and go to https://www.driveridentifier.com/.

There will be a little software called "driver identifier" download it and install it.
It will scan your system for all drivers and then it will redirect you to the driver download page.
Download your desired driver and install it. And enjoy.
