Hello Experts,

How to download a free abr brush editor? Is it possible for me to download additional brush styles and designs in my photoshop cs5? I hope you can give me some ways to make it possible, and a step by step process after the download on where to put the brush to be applied and used.

Thank you.

I also searched for abr brush editor but didn't have any luck. However, it is possible for you to download additional brush styles and designs. Go to this site (http://www.brushlovers.com/). Once there, you can pick different styles that you want. download them.

After Downloading:

1. Open the folder and select the file with file extension of .ABR

2. Copy it.

3. Go to the C: —> Program files —-> Photoshop cs5 —-> preset —–> brushes

4. Paste the file to the folder named BRUSHES, then you're good to go!

*Take a note though. There are files that are in zip form. If that is the case, extract the file using winrar. After extracting the file (.ABR), follow steps 2 to 4.

You can download winrar here —->> http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html

Good Day. I guess the first two solutions will give you idea "where" to download your desired brushes. Here is a step by step guide on how to install brushes on your photoshop cs5. Again, as mentioned on previous solutions, you will be needing WinRAR or WinZip to extract the folders.

1. Once the folder is extracted, locate the file (brushes) you want to be added on your photoshop.
2. Open the "Adobe Photoshop" folder. (if you cannot locate, search it using "search files" but usually it is under "Program Files" folder.
3. Open the "Presets" folder and then the "Brushes" folder.
4. Drag the NEW brush file from the extracted folder to the "Brushes" folder.
5. Run the Photoshop Program. Click  “Window” menu –> select “Brushes” –> Click the “Menu”–> select “Load Brushes.”
6. Click "Load" then select the new brush file.
7. The brush can now be used on your Photoshop.
8. Enjoy!!
