Hello friends,

What is a scanner doc virus? When I am downloading some files or data from an online email address sent by a friend, there is always a warning that scans document viruses. How possible those files can be corrupted in an online software?

Thanks and Regards,

Hi there,

The scanning part of the documents in the email address when you are about to download the file is a service that is provided by your email provider or web-based email provider.

It helps you to protect your email and your computer in different viruses that comes from the internet.

And as long as the files don’t have any virus, you can download it safely. Before downloading a file, make sure it is safe from viruses.

Hi Mellisa!

It is very important to you should scan the document first before opening it regardless where it came from to avoid fatal damage to your files. Some items that you are receiving from your email are spam emails which might contain macro viruses.

Macro viruses are harmful codes that are written in the macro language of programs. Viruses like this can make dominating harmful effects of the programs in the database.

So with that, you must be alert at all times in opening a file and always perform a quick scan since the consequences might be irreversible.

Good luck!
