I want to put a number of songs in my Galaxy s2 android Ice Cream Sandwich.  I just created a library in my phone and I want to put the songs from my pc to the phone.  How does Galaxy s2 add mp3s to music library?

Hello John Anderton,

It can be very easy to do. Samsung S2 is an in build SD Card. This is built in Storage. On that you can create a Folder for Movie and Music and you can upload easily. After that you should safely remove your device. Then your device will detect your Media folder. 

Otherwise, you can download KIES Application from Samsung site. And Install that. It will help you to upload your Media Library.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Smartphone and you want to transfer music files or songs from your computer to your phone, the best way to do the transfer is with Samsung Kies. Go to Samsung Kies download page and download the version designed for your phone.

If your phone is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher, download Samsung Smart Switch otherwise just download the native Samsung Kies. Samsung Kies supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x. It requires 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 500 MB free space, 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution, and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.
