Where can I download Master splitter and is it a freeware?  How do I split large MPEG files using Master Splitter so I could attach it in my email and will it retain the quality of the original file?  Is there a split option where I choose the file size to be split?

Hello,

Master splitter is a handy application that splits large files for easy transfer on  disk or for transmission via e-mail.

The file can either be binary or text in nature. The Application is not a freeware but rather Sold by TOMASOFT.

This software is an easy to use application. In the primary box users choose the file to split and the output size.

For splitting large files such as MPEG, Start Mastersplitter and click the split tab. Browse for the file to be split.
Select the file to be split and adjust the sizes of choice. And the pieces to be created will be shown.

Press Split and straight.away the process will begin.

It seems that this piece of software is not for everyone not unless you need to split a large file then this would be handy. The program is really intended for splitting large files so you can transfer them in smaller storage devices like floppy disks or for easy attaching in your email. It is an extremely fast 32-bit file splitter that can process either text files or binary files. MasterSplitter is kind of old since it was added to download sites such as CNET since March of 2002.

Unlike other file splitter where the person receiving the file still needs to install the program, here it’s different. In MasterSplitter, the person receiving the file no longer needs to install the application because the tool already creates a batch file for recombining the files. This tool supports early operating systems such as Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and until Windows XP. It costs $12.95 but you can try it for free though I’m not sure about the program’s limitations for unregistered versions. You can download MasterSplitter 4.1i from its official website, Tomasoft Corporation | Products | MasterSplitter.
