When I terminate the RD session, the login screen is still there.

How do I log back in to the original computer after ending the session in a remote computer?

Hello Erwin,

In think when you cancel the Remote Desktop connection from your computer it should be still connected to the user's computer whom you were using the remote desktop service for some reason, or their computer may have frozen.

This situation may force you to shut down the computer or restart it again so as to disconnect the remote desktop service between your computer and the user whom you had connected your computer with.

Alternatively, you can start the task manager and end the remote desktop session from there from the listed processes.

You can switch between different users by just clicking the keys Windows key + L at the same time and you will be able to Switch between different users at the same time.

But in case you have ended a session and you want to login to that computer then you need to login as a admin to that computer in this case you must need to have the password of administrator and the you can easily log in to your computer.

Also see the accounts types and see that what account is used for what purpose. Go to START and then to CONTROL PANEL from there you need to go to USER ACCOUNTS and then you can see multiple accounts form there you need to select and change as per your requirements.

You need to log on through a admin in this case if you want to change your computer accounts. If you are running on a domain the you can simply Lon in to this domain by entering the user name and password.
