How do I fix my wireless adapter ?

I have an old pci wireless G adapter which is working perfectly fine, until one day  it keeps  on connecting and get disconnected after a few seconds. I tried  reinstalling the driver and even tried reinstalling the system but still im experiencing the same problem. please help me with my problem before i try to buy another wifi adapter. by the way my access point is working fine because my laptop has a wireless connection.

How do I fix my wireless adapter ?

       The problem could be on the hardware of your computer, try to disconnect it to the board and then connect it again, sometimes re-socket solved problems like that, not only on that kind of hardware, you can apply this also so some computer parts like the memory, video card hard disk, etc. So you need to check that card if it is connected well to your computer.  Try to buy also 7dbi gain antenna and put it on your card, you could find some here https://www.dicksmith.com.au/da/  you may try to put also another one to the router. Try my suggestions. Good luck.
