Asked By 30 points N/A Posted on -

Hello there.

I have an online business that I would like to promote on Facebook.

I’m a new Facebook user and I have already registered.

Can someone here teach me how I can create a Facebook page of my business?

How do I create a Facebook business/fan page?

Hi Dorindagmincey,

Good day! I want you to go to the end of the page, find the link that says "create page" click it and fill in the necessary information. Well, the information contain the following:

  1. Which category will your page will be, personal use or community cause, etc (click one)
  2. Fill in a category
  3. Name of the page
  4. Address
  5. State or City
  6. Zip Code
  7. Phone

The information is different from those of the others, I have chosen a business page so the information must have included my address.

It’s actually free to setup a Facebook page for your business if you want to promote it on this popular social networking site. First step in creating your business’ Facebook page is to decide on the page name that you will be using on your Facebook page and then select the category for your product or service.

After that select a photo or any image that you can associate with your business and use as the profile picture. Write a sentence or short information about your product or the service you are offering so people will understand what your business is for.

Next is to set an easy to remember or somewhat catchy web address for your page.

And finally, upload a cover photo for your Facebook page that will showcase or promote the service you offer or the products you produce.
