How do I convert an ai file to a wmf file?

Hi!

I would like to convert some of my files to wmf but it doesn’t show as an option when I save the file. The original files are ai files and I am using AI CS4. Anybody know a work around with this one?

How do I convert an ai file to a wmf file?

Hi Sophie. Does your CS4 have the plugin to save as a .wmf file? Probably not. You can solve this by doing any of the following:
1. Install the plugin to save as .wmf files. You can search for “cs4.wmf plugin” on any search engine to get it.
2. Upgrade version of CS4.
3. Download and install the latest version, i.e. CS5, CS6, etc. You can get it at www.adobe.com
4. You can get a software that solely converts files from .ai to .wmf. A search engine will help you in that area.
