How to delete social media accounts and retrieve data

Please keep this in mind that once you delete the facebook account permanently, you will not be able to reactivate your account again. Before you delete your facebook account, download a copy of all your facebook data.

To download a copy of your facebook data:
1. Click on the icon which is at the right most upper corner.
2. Go to settings.
3. Under General settings, there is a option “Download a copy of your facebook data” at the bottom.
4. Click on that link and click on start my archives.
It will download all your data. Keep it at secure location.
Once you delete your account people will not be able to see you on facebook and it may take up to 90 days to delete all your information. While deleting the information, people will not be able to see your profile on facebook.
To delete the facebook account –
1. Click on the icon which at the right most upper corner.
2. Go to settings.
3. Go to security tab.
4. At the bottom, there is option “deactivate your account”.
5. Click on the option.
6. Click on confirm.
