I assume you use mail client as Outlook or Windows Mail.

Open the mail from which you want to extract email ID and name (if exist) into an spreadsheet or making it a distributed list.

Go under menu ‘View’ and then select ‘Option’. There at the bottom you see the Internet Headers and details of all email IDs and name. If not present then see name of options like ‘show the message options dialog box’. Just copy all the header information (only to, cc, BCC or from field) and paste (Do not use 'Paste Special') in excel file.

In Gmail or other web related mail clients you have to copy all the email IDs into a notepad. Use find and replace functionality from edit menu of notepad.  Specify semi colon between name and email ID and for each ending of email ID make an enter key or return key. Also replace all <> characters.

Thus in web related mail clients its difficult to get name and email IDs in distributed list while in Outlook or Windows mail we can easily make it.
