Hello,

How to convert rar files to mp3 file? While surfing in the internet I just thought if it is possible for me to convert rar files to mp3 file. Just to clarify things can you tell me about your experiences about this issue?

Hi,

RAR files are compressed/zipped files while MP3 files are audio files. RAR files are used to minimize the size of a file. It is not a matter of converting RAR to MP3,  but rather how to unzip RAR files to extract MP3 files. You may try downloading the following to be able to unzip RAR files.

Both files are not free, but you may download the trial version of WinRAR and it still work fine even if the trial period is over.

How to convert rar files to mp3 file?

rar files are usually compressed in nature. This means that it is possible to package a number of files regardless of the format and compress them into an rar file using applications like WinRAR or power ISO. Mp3 files on the other hand are music files. So unless the rar you have contains compressed music files, then it is not possible to convert  it into an mp3. And even if it contains music files, then you will have to uncompressed it first before engaging in any further file type conversion.

I usually use format factory  to convert my music and video files

How to convert rar files to mp3 file?

I think rar files are compressed files wide different components.  someone gave you that file as mp3 file and  you have a problem  So download WinRAR from Free Windows Software Download  than  install -> right click on the file -> extract here then you will find the original file. 

Converting from one to the other would be like converting from a box into a CD.

 

If the RAR archive contains MP3s, then double click on the first file in the archive  it will have a .rar extension rather than an r followed by a number after installing 7-zip from http://7-zip.org/  and you will take the CD out of the box
