I am using microsoft word on my computer which is running windows 2010. I have two word documents with me and need to merge the old one with the new one. How to compare 2 word documents for differences?

How To Compare 2 Word Documents For Differences?

To do this, microsoft provides in built tools, to make the comparison easier and accurate.

First, you should open one of the documents you want to compare.

Then, go to the tools menu and click on the option marked ‘track changes’.

In track changes, you will find an option called “compare documents”.

Now you will find a new window opening up.

Select the “original document” when you are prompted.

Then select the revised one whose changes are to be merged.

Select it, click ok.
