How can you number pages in word? What are the two options to insert page numbers into a word document? How can you delete numbers in MS word? Is it possible to remove page numbers only from the first page? Where in the tool bar can you find this option?
Different ways to insert Page numbers in MS Word
It is easy to insert page numbers in Microsoft Office Word and very useful especially if your document already has many pages. To insert page numbers into your document, select Insert tab then under “Header & Footer” section, click Page Number and then select the format you want. You can also select the location where the page number will appear. See image.
On the other hand, if your document already has page numbers and you want to remove them, under Page Number, click Remove Page Numbers. This will automatically remove all the page numbers on your document. If you want to change the format of the page number in the header or the footer, click Format Page Numbers.
