My computer is running fast before, but lately after I deleted too many files, it is running very slow. How can I remove junk files on my MacBook Pro? I want it to go back to how it used to run before. Because it is slow, I need to restart it repeatedly every once in a while. Please suggest the workarounds for this.

Hi Jimmy,

 

Have you tried uninstalling useless applications or large files, and still your MacBook pro performs slow? Unlike pc's, Macs does not accumulate unwanted files, unless you were the one who downloaded it or put it there.

But if you're talking about emptying junk in the mail program, go to the mail menu bar, select mailbox and pull down the erase junk mail, a window will appear to ask to confirm delete junk mail then click it.
